It is with pleasure that I invite you to attend the XXVI Scientific Meeting of the Australian Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology Inc. (ASCCP) in Auckland from the 28th – 31st March 2019. We have an excellent panel of invited speakers, both international and local, and I am sure you will not be disappointed with the scientific and social programmes. The venue for the meeting is the Grand Millennium Auckland, New Zealand.

Although we in Australia and New Zealand have an enviable record in the prevention of cervical cancer, this disease remains a significant women’s health issue in our region. We have invited a wide range of speakers from various countries who will present both the problems and offer solutions. Sessions will be held on:

- The burden of cervical cancer in our region, with insights from;
         - Papua New Guinea
         - Vanuatu
         - Cook Islands, and
         - Fiji
- Solutions to some of these burdens

We will also have practical sessions on:

- Challenges in management of cervical disease in the era of the HPV primary screening, focusing on issues that have arisen in Australia since the introduction of the renewed screening program
- Management of Vulval disease

As always there will be ample time for questions and discussion.

I hope that you will be able to join us for the meeting and look forward to seeing you in Auckland.
